What we liked
- + 40lbs bulk supply is hard to beat for large-volume soap production
- + Pure NaOH works with standard lye calculators and soap recipes
- + Bulk buying reduces packaging waste versus many small tubs
Trade-offs
- - Industrial grade rather than food grade, so purity may be less assured
- - Huge quantity is risky to store and far beyond most home soapers
