What we liked
- + 0.1 g readability across a 0.5 g to 5 kg range covers small additives and full pots of oils on one scale
- + 7.2 x 7.2 inch stainless steel platform plus a HOLD function for containers that overhang the weighing pan
- + Percentage mode, tare, counting and calibration with an included 100 g weight; runs on USB-C charging or 2 AAA batteries
Trade-offs
- - Priced well above the basic 11 lb kitchen scales in this guide, so it is more than occasional small batches need
- - The large platform takes more counter and storage space than a compact pocket or bowl scale
