What we liked
- + Clear glycerin gives bright, see-through bars that show color well
- + 2lb block is a practical size for families and first projects
- + Soap Expressions is a familiar craft brand stocked by many hobby stores
Trade-offs
- - Craft-store clear bases can have a slight tint compared with ultra clear
- - Bars need wrapping soon after unmolding to prevent glycerin dew
